Reform UK Hertsmere is preparing to step up its activity across the borough, with members and volunteers soon heading out into our communities to speak directly with residents, deliver surveys and campaign alongside our elected councillors.
We are launching a new Hertsmere-wide residents’ survey covering the issues that matter most locally, including planning, Green Belt protection, crime, roads, parking, housing, anti-social behaviour and the quality of council services.
Shorter ward-specific surveys are also being introduced for Borehamwood North, Borehamwood South, Aldenham East and Aldenham West. These will give residents an opportunity to share concerns relating directly to their neighbourhood and the councillor representing them.
Over the coming weeks and months, branch officers, members and volunteers will begin delivering surveys and speaking with residents on doorsteps across Hertsmere.
Nikki Dinan, Chair of Reform UK Hertsmere, said:
“We are entering an exciting and important period for our branch. We will soon be back out on the streets, listening to residents, delivering our surveys and campaigning alongside our Reform UK councillors.
“Local politics must begin with listening. These surveys will help us understand what residents are experiencing, what they want to see improved and which issues they believe should be prioritised.”
The branch will be supporting County Councillors Saul Jacob in Borehamwood South and Simon Rhodes in Borehamwood North, alongside Borough Councillors Caroline Clapper in Aldenham West and Brett Rosehill in Aldenham East.
Our upcoming campaigning will include survey deliveries, doorstep conversations, community engagement and activities designed to increase awareness of the work being carried out by Reform UK representatives locally.
Residents do not need to be Reform UK members or supporters to take part. We want to hear from people across the community, including those who may feel overlooked or believe their concerns have previously gone unheard.
The feedback received will help our councillors identify local priorities, raise residents’ concerns and focus their efforts on the issues that matter most in each ward.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for members and supporters to get involved. Whether you can help deliver surveys, join a doorstep team, support a local event or assist behind the scenes, every contribution will be welcomed.
Nikki added:
“Our branch continues to grow, but our success depends on the people who give their time to support our work. Together, we can strengthen our local presence, support our councillors and ensure residents have a clear voice in the decisions affecting Hertsmere.”
The main Hertsmere residents’ survey and our ward-specific surveys will be available through the Surveys and Feedback section of our website.
